Famous Five – Favourite Supporting Character

August 18, 2016 – Evie Hamada says: While it's always best when it's just the Five, the supporting characters can be quite interesting. And by supporting characters I mean the children who befriended them in various books and helped solved the mystery. The ones I can remember are Tinker, Sooty (and Marybelle) Jo, Aily, Jan/Yan, Nobby, Jeremy (? ), Henry, the Harries and Berta. That's all I can remember for now but if yours is a favourite I forgot please do mention it : -). My absolute favourite is Tinker (maybe he was also Enid's favourite as he appeared in two books, and Jo!) Tinker is funny and quirky- who could forgot his obsession of pretending to be a car? I find it really funny when he comes up against Julian. And of course he has a pet monkey, Mischief! Sooty is probably my second favourite.
July 10, 2017 – PadrĂ© says: Sooty would be my favourite, followed by Jo. There is also Martin (?), Jock, Richard, Toby and Wilfred.
August 9, 2017 – MikeConley says: My favourite would be Tinker himself. A funny character. Fancy himself being a car!
